Default What is this? Photo Trivia

We have a new trivia question of sorts over in the blog that is still waiting for an answer.

it has regularly spaced unthreaded holes... some kind of alignment plate?

I'm guessing it's a giant iron. The holes in the plate look more like steam holes for the high heat high pressure digital overlay prints to me.

I think its the plate for the giant heat presses Spreadshirt uses. I agree with Kevin the holes look similar to that of a household iron. And the different colors on the plate are probably from different colors that have transfered onto it from different shirts.
