4. Adding in a special note on the email confirmation where the customer can contact our service team to receive a new voucher for the remaining amount not used with their e-gift voucher
5. Including the standard shipping cost to be able to be used with the gift voucher.
1. "voucher"??? Really? Why not call it a E-Gift Card???
2. ok i have no idea what this means
3. MOST GC's don't expire at all in MOST states. I know here in California they don't expire at all. This idea SP has about expirations dates can cause major issues.
4. Why can't the "voucher" or whatever it is, just be good until its all used up like ALL OTHER GC's? Having to contact SP to get ANOTHER ONE is more work than it's worth, not to mention setting SP up for lawsuits about money spent on these things being lost due to the GC not being used up completely.
5. I still think ALL shipping costs, no matter if its 2 days or standard should be able to be put towards the GC.

I don't know any company that puts such limits on a so called GC, as SP is trying to do. How hard is it to issue a E-Gift Card that doesn't expire and covers shipping costs? E-GCs are HUGELY popular, why on earth are you guys making it so hard?

Lastly, why is there no talk about shop owners getting comission on these if they are purchased from thier shop? OR are they going to be taken out of shops PERIOD?

about point 3, i happened to be discussing this issue recently and it's state specific. this is PA law:
"Under Pennsylvania law, unused gift certificates are turned over to the Pennsylvania Department of the Treasury as unclaimed property. The business must turn the gift certificate over two years after expiration date. If there is no expiration date, then it must be turned over five years from the date of issuance."

as for the rest, well, sounds like they are trying to, ahem, workaround instead of just biting the bullet and making it a proper payment method. that's unfortunate but at least it sounds like they aren't going to force it on us.

Attention Gift Cards Keep De-activating

Okay, I know a lot of you are not happy with the E-Gift Vouchers or whatever they are, but I have them prominently advertised on my store because I think it is a good thing for the holidays and it makes my site look good, and my experience with Spreadshirt's customer service has been wonderful, and I'm sure whatever issues come up with the cards/certificates/ vouchers with customers will be handled appropriately.

However, I noticed they keep de-activiating. I re-activiated them yesterday, and this morning they were de-activated again. I have links to them in a side column so people can go directly to them, and when they de-activate it just goes to my main shop page = broken link = looks bad on my part. Can someone look into this?

Thank you!!!

Hi Partners,

Due to the high request for the e-gift vouchers to be removed from partner shops we have gone and done so effective last night. Now, if any partner would like to offer the e-gift vouchers in their shop please PM me with your shop ID and I can include them.

Let me know if there are any questions or concerns
