When will this go live? They are still the same price when I just looked. Also I guess that means we have to redo all the current ones we have (3-400 hundred)?
why would we have to redo ours?

Before when they lowered the price of something it wouldn't show the new price on already made products. At least i think I remember it being that way.

Hi Partners,
Nope we aren't getting rid of the style, just reducing the price as we told you guys we would try to do more often with products. The $2.00 reduction stands and will not be changed back.
Unfortunately you will have to go in manually change the prices for any static products :(

#@%#. This is a feature that really needs to be at the top of the list above all else.

I completely agree!! I know that is is being worked on however. Jana posted about it on the following thread:

lol no kidding, holy crap that is a lot of shirts for me!!!
What are we supposed to change? Cause isnt the only thing that we can change is our profit correct?
What exactly should we do to make this happen?
thanks

yeah I don't think I am even going to bother. Removing everything this weekend but lights and heavys, which sucks because my wife loves the contrast stitch and has been stopped every time she wears it.
now what happens if you dont change the price who gets those $2 hmmm

i don't use this shirt anyway, i don't like it enough for the price, even at $2 less. I'm probably going to go the way of Nekkid, but keep the AA's too.

I posted this on the blog today (http://spreadshirtus.wordpress.com/2007/06/18/contrast-stitch-t-shirt-price-reduction/)
but I thought I would try here - if you have any pictures of contrast stitch t-shirts you have created or ordered - we would love to see them.
Please email them to lpa - at - spreadshirt.com or add them to the Flickr Group.
Thanks,
Lindsay

What we need is things like lightweight women's t-shirts. I'm sure the contrast stitch tee is nice but it's $$$.

Does this mean I have to go to remake the product through the confomat to have the price reduction? I had thought by your answer that you meant we just had to adjust our *price* in the admin, but the base price has stayed the same in my product information area, I could only adjust the price by reducing my commision amount, which isn't exactly what I wanted to do.

All products have to be remade. I am dropping it even though a lot of people like it. Going to get it screen printed locally as a "special edition" in my catalog I'm building. I can get it for less than 7 bucks with design on it vs $14 base, no design.

Hi Razz,
Yes, absolutely loving the shirt! :)
The colors available will be: black, white, red and navy. The brand is Gildan and the price point will be lower than the women's heavyweight and available to only shop partners just like the men's lightweight currently is.

:D Those colors are kind of not what i was hoping for but its better than nothing thats for sure. Can we expect to get more colors?? Gildan is a good brand. I'm glad its exclusive to partners like the mens LW. Can't wait to see them!

We wanted to play it safe and start with the best selling colors first and then if sales are good we will gladly add in more colors :)
